Joanna Kristensen graduated from Poznan University of Economics majoring in International Economic and Political Relations and from postgraduate studies in the field of diplomacy at the Warsaw School of Economics.
For almost 10 years Joanna worked in the financial sector as the EU Funds Expert, Head of Team, as well as Project Manager (her work for the banking sector was awarded by the President of Polish Banks Association). Prior to that she worked for the Polish public administration, among others in the Office of the Committee for European Integration as well as the Ministry of Economy, Labour and Social Policy. Before joining the Foundation, she worked for the World Health Organization Country Office in Poland.
Joanna has broad experience in consulting (implementation and co-financing of projects subsidized by the European Union) as well as in project management (Project Management Professional certified by the Project Management Institute).
She is interested in classical and contemporary dance (graduate of the National Ballet School in Poznan). In her spare time she studies languages (French, Spanish, Danish) as well as practises running and yoga.
