Jakub Jaskółowski is the project coordinator for the “Young and Competent” initiative, organized by Fundacja Edukacyjna Jana Karskiego (FEJK) and funded by Poland’s National Freedom Institute. He has been involved in several FEJK educational projects, including the Jan Karski Young Citizen Academy.
He is a graduate of the University of Opole, where he studied political science. He has also completed postgraduate studies for financial project management for EU-funded programs at Leon Kozminski University in Warsaw. In 2006-2016, he worked at the Office of the President of the Republic of Poland on Polish-Jewish dialogue and historical and cultural heritage.
In 2016, he worked at the Polish National Library, where he was responsible for the renovation of the Krasiński Palace project, co-funded by the grants from the European Economic Area and the Norwegian Financial Mechanism. Jakub is a graphic designer, animator, computer game creator, and author of articles on history. He is an avid cyclist—in the summer of 2020, he took a solo bike trip across Norway.
