Warsaw, Poland – Fundacja Edukacyjna Jana Karskiego (FEJK), the Warsaw-based sister organization of the Jan Karski Educational Foundation, participated in a fair for non-profits, organized by the Forum for Dialogue Among Nations on March 8 at the Grand Theatre-National Opera.

JKEF President, Ewa Junczyk-Ziomecka offered educational materials about Jan Karski at the FEJK booth, including a quiz for students about the legendary emissary. Those who answered it correctly were presented with the Polish language version of the newly published illustrated story Karski’s Mission: To Stop the Holocaust.

The event was followed by the 8th School of Dialogue Gala, which attracted over 1,000 students and educators from all over Poland. Students were recognized for their initiative to bring back the many poignant memories of Polish Jews. The ceremony was attended by many dignitaries, including Bogdan Borusewicz, Deputy Marshal of the Senate of the Republic of Poland; Anna Azari, Ambassador of Israel to Poland; Michael Schudrich, the chief Rabbi of Poland; and the representatives of the Association of Polish Righteous Among Nations.

The Forum for Dialogue Among Nations is a non-profit Polish organization whose mission is to foster Polish-Jewish dialogue, eradicate anti-Semitism and teach tolerance through education. The Forum fulfills its mission through seminars, publications, exhibitions, and exchange programs targeted at Polish and Jewish youth and leaders.
